Garage Door Repair & Installation

Why buy a new door when you can repair it for a fraction of the cost. Most garage doors—no matter how old—can be repaired to run like new. In fact, they can be made to be quieter than when they were new. When it comes time to make a repair you need to decide if you are looking for a long-term fix or a temporary repair. The most common repair needed is broken springs or broken cables. Many times people address these issues only and neglect the other garage door parts which have been wearing out this whole time as well. Which over time results in an unsafe door, and eventual failure. Motor Repairs and Installation

Many motor repairs are usually due to improper working doors and can be repaired for a fraction of the cost on the first visit. It has become commonplace in the industry to always recommend replacement. In many instances this is the best solution but I've found most companies recommend this because the technicians are incapable of properly diagnosing the actual problem. Some parts are expected to wear out and need replacing. Others are not and it’s rare when they fail. So replacing the garage door opener should be based on what components have failed, not how old it is.

Some things to keep in mind are garage door openers without safety eyes. These will have to be replaced since they do not meet code requirements, due to the UL 325 standard. Manufacturers, installers, and homeowners are liable for injuries. For that reason, these models and are no longer supported. In the event a new garage door motor makes more sense, I stock them on the truck. A full line of remotes and keypads and other accessories are available as well. We service such brands as LiftMaster, Genie, Linear, Craftsman, and are familiar with but will mostly likely need replacing are Stanley, Automatic Doorman, Ambassador, Powerlift, and many others.

Replacement Jambs, Headers & Goal Posts

All Access Garage Door is a full service company offering a complete range of services. Many times the Goal Post (where the tracks attach) or Jambs are rotted due to termites or water. We can replace them with very little added expense. There are many reasons why you might want to drop the header of your garage door opening or you just may want to update the aesthetics. Whatever the situation we can handle it.

Section Replacement

It's hard to measure the value of this dying service. You would not believe how often a garage door gets driven into. If you have teenage drivers you will probably find this information very convenient one day.

Bottom sections rot. Top sections bend and windows break. If you have only one door, section replacement is probably not worth it for you. A new garage door would make more sense. However when you have a double door or multiple doors, this is when section replacement shows its value. Instead of having to replace 3 or 4 doors you only have to replace sections. I cannot guarantee replacement for every section. But by keeping stock of used door sections still in great condition I may be your best shot. The newer the door the better your chances. Install Hi-Lift System

All Access Garage Door provides service for Hi-Lift Systems, typically installed in garages with high ceilings by installing track extenders and replacing the counterbalance to provide the necessary space needed for a car lift. Not all garage door companies offer this service due to its technical aspect and their lack of proficiency.

Emergency Board-up or Repair

Opps! You had a million things on your mind and were rushing out to complete your ToDo list, but you didn't realize the door wasn’t open all the way! Broken Window Repair

Most garage doors have windows. Oftentimes, those windows are subject to all kinds of abuse from soccer balls to baseballs – sometimes the garage door is the “backstop” for many games! When that happens, it’s inevitable that glass will be broken. Replacing an entire garage door section just to replace broken glass is not necessary. All Access Garage Door can repair broken glass!
